The interiors feature: soapstone kitchen & bathroom counters, herringbone pattern brick flooring; rustic, reclaimed wood from the mid 1800’s (cabinets, doors, trim & ceiling beams); blackened iron cabinet and door hardware, lighting fixtures & ceiling fans; a stone pizza oven; a custom, hand forged, copper exhaust hood; and early American furniture and accessories throughout, including an authentic war of 1812 musket mounted on the fireplace mantle. For the most part, the original footprint was maintained, but we moved/removed walls and raised the ceiling by a foot to open up the space. In the kitchen, dark wood cabinets were replaced with white custom cabinetry, a walk-in pantry was added, storage and counter work space was significantly increased, and upgraded appliances were added for convenience and functionality.
